Bethlehem Squeaks Out Must Win Game 3

With the players still tired from the long flight, the Bethlehem Beaz managed to win Game 3 by a score of 5-4. The winning pitcher was Joakim Soria (1-0) and the losing pitcher was J Accardo. Joe Nathan recorded his first save. Bethlehem went ahead in the top of the 8th inning when Nick Markakis delivered a 2 out single which plated two runs. Both starters pitched solid games, but neither was involved in the decision. The Stars now lead the series 2 games to 1.
